“What elderly people truly need above all else is sincere care and company.”
— Volunteer Coordinator
Kuala Lumpur——Today, our team visited Pertubuhan Kebajikan Orang Tua Cacat Connaught. We delivered daily necessities including cooking oil, cleaning supplies and sanitary products as donations. We toured all facilities, communicated with staff and elderly residents, and recorded genuine stories about elderly care.

Close-up of the Director The Commitment Behind Responsibility
“Running an elderly care home has never been easy. We care for more than twenty residents over the age of sixty. Most of them suffer from chronic illnesses, have limited mobility, and struggle with long-term loneliness.”

Nursing Ward A Safe Haven
He explained that the home has long been facing multiple challenges, including staff shortages, limited funding, and insufficient daily necessities, making it difficult to fully meet the residents’ everyday needs. Despite the constant pressure, every visit from volunteers and every donation of essential supplies brings him tremendous encouragement.

TV Corner in the Room. Everyday Warmth in the Melody
“Every donation of daily necessities and every group of passionate young volunteers brings us warmth and strength. Your kindness reminds us that, on this long and challenging journey of caring for the elderly, we have never been walking alone.”

“A world of love and unity” — A Corner Full of Vitality
Our modest gifts and short company cannot completely solve the home’s difficulties, yet we hope to bring simple joy to the seniors. This field trip made us realise material supplies are vital, but sincere companionship heals loneliness more deeply. Small kindnesses accumulate into great warmth. We hope more local citizens will pay attention to elderly welfare homes and offer lasting support.
